Mondays Just Suck, Know What I Mean?
August 16, 04 by kenrichWelcome to another Monday at work. Like most people, I really don’t like Mondays all that much. I guess it’s safe to say that I’m not completely satisfied with my job here. I have been working here for 3 1/2 years now and I have a lot of good stories to share. Off and on, I will be posting horror stories about the work environment here. Just for starters, here’s a little gem for you:
Put in a vacation request for 3 days about one month ago. My vacation starts after tomorrow. Our boss or HR is supposed to inform us whether or not our vacaction requests have been approved or denied. But I haven’t heard a word yet. Last time I had a vacation request, it was the same ordeal - I had to call my boss and HR person just to find out if my vacation had been approved. Yeah, this isn’t really too big of a deal and I know a lot of people have it much worse, but I have some better stories to share in the future.
